Shock at Flanders Park !
Cactus United 0-4 Gwinn fc
By the time the final whistle was blown, half the stadium had cleared out.Fans were not very pleased with the performances of the team who were slaughtered at home by a club who's had a terrible run of form.
'I mean its one thing to lose by two goals at home and quite another to lose by four. Am in shock ! Never in the history of the club has it suffered such a humiliation at home. The defence was shit especially the dutch defender . And as for the strikers the less said about them , the better'
---Angry fan
The manager was rumoured to have smashed a few things in the dressing room.Obviously very frustrated by what had just happened. He and the players were'nt available for any comment.
This result means Nk Domzale who drew against Norfolk go atop the league standings due to their superior goal difference.
1.Nk Domzale + 24
2.Cactus Ufc +13
Some are asking why the manager didnt field inform striker Francesco Temple(37657132)

PRICKLY TIMES: Sunday Interviews
pre-match interviews
The Times was at the club's training ground for some interviews concerning the up coming match against Gwinn fc . Here is what some of the players had to say :
'My english not too good so i say something short. We beat Gwinn today. Tell Gwinn i say so. We afraid nobody we fight like dogs; we win .'
---Veteran brazillian forward, Sérgio Nascimento (6845095)
'Gwinn are a very good squad and we hope we'll have enough quality at the end of the day to come up on top. My main concern is F. Holbrook their danger man; second in the goal king race and doesnt need a second invitation to shoot. So our defence will have to be in top shape to contain him; we do that , its half the work done and the rest is up to us.'
---Captain, Malcolm Dickerson (37151164)
The Times also had an exclusive interview with man of the moment Willy Workman (38516601) . Just one season after arriving to the club he has managed to work his way to the first team. The departure of 45 goals in-one-season wonder, Par Hager (24666520) to FC-3-2-5 also helped.
Times: Will why do your squad mates call you 'the sniper' ?
Will: Well i guess its because i've been prolific in front of goal this season. But all of this started when a friend of mine, Mat , came to the club and called me by that name and its stuck ever since. I like it so am not complaining (he smiles)
Times: Last season was a bit tough for you wasnt it ? I mean with Par Hager being in lightning form and you being kept on the bench for most of the season and only used for friendlies. How did you feel?
Will: Par and I are good friends. I dont hold any bad feelings towards him.As you know i came mid- season when he'd already scored some 20 goals so i understand the manager's decision to keep him on the team. And about playing friendlies; that was actually a good thing .Gave me loads of experience and i proved to the manager that i could score goals if given the chance.
Times: Describe your experiences at the club so far after arriving from a club folding up?
Will: Most of my experiences have been good so far. Have a new girlfriend and am really happy here; though it does get cold as well digger's ass over here ( starts laughing really hard )
Times : thanks for your time and good luck
Will: thanks for having me.
Next week we will be bringing you another exclusive interview with club's record signing Alban Turok (17743286)

This match is of great importance to us in that, should we slip up NK domzale will go top of the series with a win or draw because of goal difference and will make it difficult for us to win the series , which is our main priority this year. The boys have put in a lot of work and its starting to show. We should however stopping leaking unnecessary goals at the back. With the current situation of the league you cant afford to give away silly goals like the way we did against Okazaki.
